About Us

Four Generations. One Mission: Quality.

Rooted in the coastal community of Stonehaven, our family has spent four generations perfecting the art of lobster harvesting and handling. We source directly from trusted wharves across the Maritimes, bringing premium-grade live lobster into our state-of-the-art facility, where every detail is managed with care, precision, and pride.

With buyers in Asia, Europe, the U.S. and across Canada, Stonehaven Lobster is globally trusted to deliver quality seafood, every time.

About Us

Meet Our Team

At the heart of Stonehaven Lobster is a family that lives and breathes the ocean. With decades of hands-on experience, deep-rooted knowledge of the industry, and a shared passion for excellence, our team leads every step of the process with care and commitment.

Nathan Arseneau

Nathan manages all administrative aspects of the business, working out of our Shediac office during the fall season and supporting operations throughout the year.

From logistics and client communications to seasonal planning and paperwork, he keeps the business organized and moving forward. Like his brother Seb, Nathan has done hands-on work, from the wharf buying to delivery runs, giving him a practical understanding of every part of the operation. He brings the same “roll up your sleeves” approach to everything he does behind the scenes.

Sebastien Arseneau

Sebastien oversees the day-to-day operations at our Stonehaven facility, managing everything from coordinating shipments and grading lobster to working directly with fishermen and maintaining our on-site systems.

With a deep knowledge of the product and the process, Sebastien ensures that every lobster meets our strict standard for quality and care. As a fourth-generation member of the family business, he brings a practical approach, high attention to detail, and deep rooted dedication.

LOCAL HISTORY

Built on Stone, sustained by Sea.

Long before Stonehaven Lobster set up shop, the land we work from was already part of New Brunswick’s hardworking history. In the early 1900s, this exact site was home to a thriving grindstone quarry – part of a once booming industry that helped put Stonehaven on the map. Grindstones from this region were shipped around the world, shaped by the same coastal grit and resilience that define our community today.

Today, our facility stands where Read Stone Quarry once operated, just steps from the historic wharf. While the grindstones are gone, the spirit of the work remains and we’re proud to carry on a tradition of exporting quality goods from this shoreline to the world.

OUR COMMITMENT

Our Standards
Are Higher

At Stonehaven, we don’t just handle lobster - we care for it. Our facility holds up to 120,000 of lobster in a premium, chilled saltwater environment, fed by our natural saltwater well and powered by a high-end Aqua Production Systems filtration setup.

From meticulous grading and purging to temperature-controlled storage that extends lobster lifespan and reduces risk during transport, every step is designed to deliver unmatched quality and peace of mind to our clients.
